Vintage Laboratory Technician – Harvest 2026

Marisco Vineyards, home to beloved brands such as The Ned, The Kings Series, and The Craft Series, is a progressive winery in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley, dedicated to sharing the unique story of New Zealand wine with the world.

We are seeking a Vintage Laboratory Technician to join us for the 2026 harvest and help deliver another successful vintage in our new-generation winery.

About the role

Vintage laboratory contracts typically run from mid-February to early May, during which time we operate 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the team by ensuring accurate and timely analysis.

Key tasks include:

Processing and analysing maturity samples

Juice analysis

Daily fermentation analysis

Accurate data entry

What we’re looking for:

Strong time management and organisational skills

High attention to detail and a sense of urgency

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Full training will be provided, so previous experience is an advantage but not essential.
