Permanent Cellar Hand – Leefield Station Winery

We are currently seeking a Permanent Cellar Hand to join our team at Leefield Station Winery, supporting year-round winery operations in a modern, well-equipped facility.

What you’ll be doing

As a Permanent Cellar Hand, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day cellar operations, working closely with the winemaking and cellar teams across a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Fruit receival and processing, juice clarification, additions and inoculations.

• Wine blending, fining and filtration processes.

• Preparation of filtered wine for dispatch.

• Dispatch of wines in bulk and for bottling.

• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of cellar facilities and equipment.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of two harvests’ experience or at least one year working as a cellar hand.

• Strong commitment to Health & Safety and adherence to quality standards.

• Physically fit and highly motivated, with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• A team player with a strong willingness to learn and develop.

• Forklift and winery equipment experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

• Permanent, full-time position.

• Hours vary seasonally, with extended hours required during vintage.
