We are currently seeking a Permanent Cellar Hand to join our team at Leefield Station Winery, supporting year-round winery operations in a modern, well-equipped facility.
What you’ll be doing
As a Permanent Cellar Hand, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day cellar operations, working closely with the winemaking and cellar teams across a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Fruit receival and processing, juice clarification, additions and inoculations.
Wine blending, fining and filtration processes.
Preparation of filtered wine for dispatch.
Dispatch of wines in bulk and for bottling.
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of cellar facilities and equipment.
What we’re looking for
Minimum of two harvests’ experience or at least one year working as a cellar hand.
Strong commitment to Health & Safety and adherence to quality standards.
Physically fit and highly motivated, with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
A team player with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
Forklift and winery equipment experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Employment Details
Permanent, full-time position.
Hours vary seasonally, with extended hours required during vintage.
Competitive hourly rate aligned with skills and experience.
